A silver allegorical figure of fortune, parts 17th century
The classically draped maiden holding a cornucopia and flaming torch, mounted on an ivory fleur de lis, on an ebony panel within a fruitwood frame carved with acanthus and ribbon ornament -- 7in. x 5in. (18 x 12.5 cm) overall
Condition: The frame with some old restorations, and evidence of historical worm infestation. The reverse applied with later associate parchment backing. Other than this wear and tear consistent with age and use.
