A Large and Rare 17th/18th Century English Treen Ciborium
9.1/2in. (24 cm) high x 5.1/2in. (14 cm) diameter
Condition: Minor old shrinkage cracks in areas consistent with age, traces on the original varnish in areas. The chanelled rim would suggest formerly with a cover, probably in silver and surmounted by a Cross.
