A Silver Cup and Cover, London 1928 by Crichton Brothers

The twin handled campana-shaped body with lambrequin ornament, on a gadrooned foot, the leaf-capped scroll handles cast and chased with flowerheds, the conforming cover with lobed and urn-shaped finial, marked on the underside of the base. 

Crichton Brothers 1890 - 1954. Founded by Lionel Alfred Crichton in Kensington. Manufaturers and retailers specialising in fine quality copies of old master silversmiths’ work.
